About me

"Courage doesn't happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life." - Shannon Adler.
As a mental health therapist I believe that all individuals strive for success, connection, feelings of acceptance, significance, and respect. However, negative life experiences influence what we do and how we feel in the present moment resulting in feelings of inferiority and inadequacy.
My role as your therapist is to assist in the exploration of your personal story and help uncover sources of distress while helping you develop tools necessary to create a sense of self-worth, confidence, empowerment, and healing.
I have over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field in various capacities working extensively with adults. My areas of expertise include depression, adjustment issues, adult children of dysfunctional families, anxiety, family of origin issues, military, substance use, trauma, and first responders and their families.

Ashley is exceptionally easy to talk to and offers challenging but rewarding input. I was very nervous about completely online therapy but within the first few minutes of our first session I felt more than comfortable to discuss my issues without fear of judgment.
