About me

Counseling may be one of the most amazing journeys that you take in life, and I'd be honored to help guide you as you take those first steps toward greater self-awareness. I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed chemical dependency counselor in Texas with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist in a variety of settings, including a private practice, community mental health center, behavioral health hospital, and adult/juvenile probation departments. I've provided counseling services to adults, children, and adolescents experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, family/marital problems, career challenges, OCD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, ODD, Conduct Disorder, substance use disorders, self-harming behaviors, anger control issues, and various personality disorders. I also have experience working with clients who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual trauma/abuse.

My counseling approach combines cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies and is always tailored to suit the needs of each individual client. I believe in empathy, understanding, respect, trust, and provide a non-judgmental atmosphere in which my clients can grow and discover. I will not pretend that I have all the answers, but I will work to the best of my ability to help you find yours.
