Ashley Williams, LCSW
About me
Hi! My name is Ashley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida.
Over the years, I've worked in a wide range of settings, including: child welfare, foster care and adoption, substance abuse treatment, cancer and chronic illness care and recovery, and within the prison system. I work primarily with clients and caregivers affected by trauma or secondary trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and those coping with grief, loss, compassion fatigue, or other life changes.
I received both by undergraduate and graduate degrees in South Florida from Florida Atlantic University.
My approach to therapy is client centered and trauma informed. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and thus should determine the direction and depth of therapy. Through a strengths-based and solutions-focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans that accomplish their goals.

Ashley is truly the best counselor! She is so knowledgeable and compassionate. I truly feel like I lucked out finding her! She has been so instrumental in dealing with past traumas, I truly could not have a better counselor/therapist.

I can't imagine navigating grief with another counselor on my side. Ashley is down to earth, kind, funny and incredibly skilled at her approach and interactions. She is a reliable communicator and competent clinician. She is able articulate grief processes and provides resources that are realistic and helpful. I am so very grateful she is on staff and I am able to access her through this platform. Highly recommend her with 1000% certainty.
