Audra Jungnitsch, LPC
About me
Hello and congratulations on reaching step one on your journey of achieving! What we wish to achieve in our lives both mentally and emotionally is unique to each of us, however needing support at some point in one's life I believe is universal. I am a counselor licensed in Michigan with over 8 years of experience working as a therapist in individual, family and group settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship and communication issues, parenting problems, crisis, thoughts of self harm, mood and personality disorders, loss, trauma including emotional and sexual abuse, OCD and ADHD.
My counseling style is open and non-judgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approaches can combine cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. However I will tailor my support and treatment modalities to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to take the first step, admitting there is a concern and wish to achieve a more fulfilling and happier life. Congratulations on taking that first step! When you are ready for step 2, I am here to support and empower you while you continue on your journey.
I look forward to working with you!

Audra has been foundational to my life over the past year and a half. I have recommended several people to betterhelp due to her exceptional work and professionalism
Written on Aug 28, 2022 after therapy with Audra for 1 year and 6 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, eating disorders, self esteem, and compassion fatigue
I started therapy 18 months ago. Audra is excellent, she listens, is non-judgmental, has a good sense of humour and points out a few things I cannot see. She is a guide during my troubled time. I have managed to overcome a few difficulties and what is helping me the most is that she is there whenever I want to text. I have the impression I can overcome any difficulties thrown at me. I recommended betterhelp to friends based on my experience with her.

I was always worried about expressing my feelings and being judged but Audra is completely understanding and it’s just so nice to have someone to talk to and listen to me and not judge me.

Audra makes me feel heard and understood. Even when I’m struggling, I feel I can speak to her about anything and know she won’t judge me. She offers grade advice and ideas to consider to help me through whatever I am going through. She responds quickly to my journal entries or messages and I look forward to our weekly video sessions. While I may still be insecure in my personal life, I’m comforted knowing that Audra is there to help me through it.

She’s awesome. It’s only been two sessions so very hard to evaluate if she’ll be able to guide me well.
