About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing in Oklahoma for nearly two decades. I have spent the last several years specializing in the treatment of interpersonal trauma and have a real passion for working with individuals who are considered "the walking wounded" as so many have the experience of having a childhood they need to heal from. I have been in the field since 2003 and have honed my ability to work with individuals who have challenges with establishing and maintaining healthy coping skills, ensuring safe boundaries and those who want to learn ways to navigate relationships. I enjoy the process of therapy and strive to make sure individuals understand that they are the hero of their own stories.

My counseling style is a nice hybrid of reflective and directive, because I know that sometimes individuals desire to be seen, felt, and heard and other times individuals value working out the steps necessary to move forward when life feels overwhelming and hard. True change comes from feeling valued, having strong connections and understanding your worth, when you are ready for that, I am here to help you feel empowered.

I've worked with Autumn for almost 2 years now and she's been central in my healing journey. With equal measures of professional expertise and compassion, Autumn quickly established a therapy environment in which I feel completely safe to share anything. She's provided me w the tool kit and vocabulary to gradually overcome deep rooted trauma. Her trademark combination of allowing me to come to realisations by myself, but equally being ready to put into context the various pieces when I'm stuck, has rendered really powerful results. She's been very consistent and reliable yet flexible when I've needed either a different approach or change of time to our usual slot. If I had to give her a rating out of 10 it's an off the charts 12.

Autumn helps me believe there is hope, and helps me feel empowered! The best therapist I’ve ever had.

Autumn is a wonderful counselor if she has time. Autumn over books herself and therefore made my time with her very stressful as every other week I got rescheduled or canceled and when I did get to speak with her she was always doing something else driving, getting food, helping her daughter, talking with her grandkids, ect. Her phone quality isn't the best on the road either.

I’ve been seeing Autumn now for two sessions. I really like the approach she uses in therapy and she is very kind and understanding. In fact, out of all the mental health professionals I’ve met she has been the most compassionate and patient. She treats me like a human being and not just another patient like some of the other people I have seen. Even though I’ve only seen her twice I feel like I am progressing and I feel comfortable telling her other things that I haven’t been able to with other mental health professionals. Autumn is awesome! She truly loves her job and it really shows. I would definitely recommend her to anybody that needs therapy.
