About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and have provided outpatient therapy in private practice and community settings since 2016. I have experience working with adults, children, and adolescents with mental health, relational, and/or spiritual issues. My approach to counseling is non-judgmental and comes from a person-centered, solution-focused perspective. My Christian faith is an important element of how I view the world and life; however, I will incorporate this element only if you are comfortable.

In the counseling setting, it is crucial we discuss things openly and honestly. Therapy is best provided in an atmosphere of safety and trust, which I will do my best to provide for you. Therapy is also a collaboration; therefore, my job is not to instruct or advise, but to empower you to create the change you wish to see.

I applaud you for taking this crucial first step towards overall wellness and balance in your life. Now, let’s get started!

I met Azizi while processing my emotions from Hurricane Helene. I asked that she be a good listener and let me fully express all that was going on for me. She did exactly as I asked. I really appreciated her listening skills and time.

Azizi is definitely an amazing counselor, she is knowledgeable and really wants to help! Listening to your client is a big thing and she absolutely does, during her sessions she really does help guide me through my problems while also providing me with any material that would assist me along the way.
