Barbara Cross, NCPS
About me
I am registered in the UK with the NCPS and have 8 years of professional work experience. I am a Pluralistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP master practitioner. Depending on each clients requirements, I practice from both a Person Centred perspective and Solution Focused. Practicing pluralistically enables a collaborative adaptive approach to our work together.
I work with clients who experience a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, motivation, self esteem, addictions, relationship issues, parenting problems, hoarding, career challenges, confidence and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Open and Kind, I felt very safe discussing whatever needed to be discussed. I have completely healed from the issue that pushed me towards therapy this year and Barbara plays a big part in that.

I've tried Therapy before but I feel like this time Bar is finding a way to make sure it works for me which hasn't happened before with other people. She's also really good at adapting sessions around what's happened to me that week - even when it's very unexpected events.
