Originally from Michigan, I gave up cold winters for the palm trees of sunny San Diego, then backtracked somehow and am enjoying scalding summers and sunny winters in Denver. I loved working with Beth as my BetterHelp therapist!
I was only a few months new to therapy when we were first paired in June 2020 -- and working with her up through August 2022 -- she helped make therapy a regular and welcome part of my life.
Through whatever way I needed to get my thoughts out, Beth was supportive to receive: video call sessions or journal entries or simply me sending giant blobs of stream-of-consciousness chat messages. She would ask thoughtful and difficult and important questions that allowed me to dig into my "why" and uncover what I was really thinking and feeling.
Throughout our two years working together, I don't think she ever needed to cancel or reschedule for any of our appointments!
I'm taking a break from BetterHelp for now, but should I ever revisit the platform, I would 1,000,000% love to have Beth as my therapist again.

She’s genuinely interested, caring, attentive, focused and has both held me accountable and motivated me. While in the past I have sometimes dreaded therapy sessions I find myself looking forward to speaking with Beth. Of course, we’re still early on and while sometimes therapy can be confronting at times, I have found my sessions with her to be inspiring as she helps me stay focused and on target with my goals.

I didn't hit it off with my first counselor, but was so pleased to find Beth! She responds frequently and follows up if I don't respond right away. I’ve been working with Beth for over a year. I signed up with BetterHelp during a terrible rough patch in my life. I have therapy through an HMO but my mental state wouldn’t allow me to get out of bed and face the world so I have this service a shot. My first counselor wasn’t a good fit but I matched with Beth the second time around. It’s strange how a person can put you at ease despite never meeting face to face. How she communicated with me, the frequency, and the genuine responses made me feel listened to. Beth knows the questions to ask to make you reflect on your current issue and evoke positive changes. She doesn’t give up even through periods of silence on my end. I’m now ready to end my service with BetterHelp but never could have done this without her. I’m forever grateful for her help. I trust that if there ever comes a time that I need counseling again, I will return to this site and hope so very much that I get to work with Beth again.

Beth is so nice and supportive, she is one of my most favorite therapists, ever. She has helped me through my struggles and still kept me grounded. She's wonderful, always responds super fast and, checks in asking how I'm doing when I've been away. Very supportive, she's amazing. :)

Beth has been a rapid sense of support for me since the start of the year. I feel comfortable in sharing information with her at my availability and she checks in on me frequently. It is a relief knowing I have a counselor that feels genuinely helpful and concerned about my well being and provides me with sound, helpful and empathetic advice.
