About me

My approach to counseling is collaborative in nature and geared toward the client gaining insight and personal awareness, for growth, resilience and change. I work toward facilitating desired outcomes by providing support for behavioral change making use of integrative approaches based on client needs, goals and strengths.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in the state of North Carolina (2017); Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (2014.). I also hold special certifications such as; National Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NBCC); Certified Clinical Military Counselor (CCMC); Certified Trauma Focused -CBT Therapist (2018) North Carolina.
I have spent the past 10 years working with families, couples, and individuals seeking to understand and improve their ability to function in their homes, schools, communities, or areas of employment as they manage mental health issues that cause symptoms of anger, fear, anxiety, and depression across a wide diversity of sex, age, and culture.
