About me

Life is complicated, and sometimes we find ourselves stuck (or even overwhelmed) by one or more of life's challenges. I will be a compassionate listener as you tell your story and we both gain some clarity on the values and beliefs that form the foundation of your experience. Together we will explore your relationship with both your inner and your outer worlds, your disappointments as well as your successes, your fears as well as your hopes for a more preferred future. Therapy will be a safe place for you to speak from your heart, to be seen and validated, and to explore "the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." As you become more self-aware, you will be encouraged to make choices in alignment with your core Self. You will also be invited and guided to become less reactive and more responsive to life's challenges, so that life feels more like a surfing adventure than an attempt just to stay afloat.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have been trained by Terry Real (Relational Life Therapy), John and Julie Gottman (The Gottman Method), Jon Kabat-Zinn (Mindfulness), and Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems). As you can probably discern from my photo, I have a good amount of " lived experience." I feel that this has made valuable contributions to my therapeutic approach and expertise. I welcome you to embark on this new adventure of discovery, experimentation, and healing.

Beverly is a kind and thoughtful listener and voice of logic and compassion who has helped me through a conflict I have been struggling with. I appreciate her experience and her wise words. I feel like she gets me and the characters in my story and has helped me to also see my role in the conflicts that cause me pain. She has been a voice of support and calm during a time of a lot of stress and anxiety. I feel like she has helped me a lot and I recommend her as a therapist for anyone experiencing family or relationship conflicts.

I have loved working with Lee, and she has been a tremendous encouragement and support the last couple weeks. She understood my needs immediately without me having to overexplain myself, and took the time to get to know me even before our first video session through messaging on the app. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I’ve tried therapy before and found it difficult to connect with the therapist. Lee was a perfect fit. She made talking to her and working on my issues easy. I would highly recommend her
