About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling from the University of Alabama. My experience spans 20 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor helping clients with physical, mental, developmental, and emotional disabilities learn to live independently. My experience My goal in counseling is to create a non-judgmental, compassionate, and motivating environment. I use clinically tested and evidence-based interventions and often use humor to help individuals find the positives amid life's challenges. I believe what makes me unique is my background as the daughter of a military father and my career as a Flight Attendant. I flew internationally for TWA and domestically for Continental Airlines. As such, I was able to both live in and visit many foreign and domestic locations that provided me an opportunity to interact with people from many different cultures.
