Brandi Enekweizu, LPC
About me
Hi! Welcome to BetterHelp. I am happy to see you exploring options for your betterment, you have definitely come to the right place!
I am an LPC in Louisiana with 12 years of experience in the Mental Health Field providing therapy services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: outpatient therapy, partial psychiatric hospitalization, day treatment services, private practice sector, and therapeutic foster care/adoption. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, stress and anxiety; LGBTQIA+; coping with addictions, coping with grief and loss, & motivation; self esteem, and confidence; I also have experience with ADHD, Opposition Defiant Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and adjustment disorders. I also work with many people who have experienced physical, sexual, and emotional trauma and abuse.
My counseling style is holistic, warm, and interactive, with a Client-Centered and Solution-Focused stand point. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing or labeling anyone or their symptoms. My approach combines a cognitive-behavioral, holistic, humanistic, psychodynamic, Client centered, and solution focused counseling. I will always tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Phoenix in Tulsa Oklahoma. I received my Master's degree in Professional Counseling with an Emphasis in Trauma from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona.
During sessions, you can expect compassion and understanding. It is my goal to provide a safe space that is gentle, collaborative, and direct in order to help you better understand and find a solution to current or long-standing challenges through a trauma sensitive approach.
It takes courage to take the step in finding how to make your life more fulfilling and happier for yourself. The initial steps toward this change will be the hardest ones. If you are ready to take them I am here to support and empower each one of your steps and decisions.
I look forward to supporting and guiding you on your journey to improved mental health. Looking forward to meet you in taking those new steps of liberation!

I had put off getting help for years. I wasn’t sure if counselling/therapy was right for me, but it was one of the best decisions I have ever made thus far. My therapist (Brandi Enekweizu) is a great listener, very understanding, relate-table and recommended work sheet tools relevant to my situation. I highly recommend her and counselling for anyone struggling through life’s difficult stages.

She listens to what you are saying, and she is empathetic. Great person for a first time trying therapy.

I’ve just barely started seeing Brandi - this week will be my 2nd meeting - but already I can see how kind and compassionate she is .she casts no judgement and is very open and understanding . So far I feel it’s a great match and I look forward to the work we can do together .

Brandi is kind and caring therapist and I learned a decent amount in the short amount of time I was with her. She does check in every couple of days, which to some may be what they need, but for me was a tad overbearing. I have only been with her a month and she has cancelled every other session and hour or less right before.
