Brandy Littler, LICSW
About me
Hello!
My name is Brandy Littler. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from Oregon state, but currently live in Maryland. I graduated from the University of Washington with my MSW in 2013. Since then, I have spent many years working in an Emergency Room and have worked with many different populations including children, teens and geriatrics.
I am a Veteran and served in the U.S Navy. I have worked with multiple clients suffering from military related trauma or those who had adjustment issues with military culture. Many of the clients I have worked with suffered from depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, family conflict, marital issues, personality disorders, self esteem issues, eating disorders, and substance abuse/addiction issues. Everyone has struggles at times. I want my clients to feel that they are in a safe and judgement free zone when I work with them. I love to learn about my clients and find out about their lives and what contributes to their outlook. The techniques I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic approaches, strength-based approaches, solution focused techniques, and mindfulness practices. We start where you are and work from there to make progress towards the goals you would like to achieve. I look forward to working with you and guiding you in meeting your therapeutic goals!

Brandy is amazing

Brandy is a total legend. Ive had loads of doctors and therapists but Brandy is the first one Ive felt genuinely excited to talk to each week. My family can all see how helpful she is to me and for the first time in a long while I feel hopeful about actually getting somewhere and making personal growth. She listens to my rambling and makes me feel heard while also supplying sage advice whenever I need it. She makes me feel like a person rather than a patient and is the first person to help me who's made me feel like they truly enjoy working with me, rather than it just being a job.

Brandy is an incredible mental health professional. She is empathetic and easy to talk to. She meets me where I am with the utmost compassion and grace. Every session we tackle something different in my life and navigate ways I can cope and understand it better. I really enjoy working with Brandy and would recommend her to absolutely anyone! This is the best investment I've made to myself in a long time.
