Breanne Stanert, LMHC
About me
I am a counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and have approximately 10 years experience working in the areas of substance abuse, family/couples counseling and mental health. I have lived most of my life in Georgia and worked with military families and couples for almost two years before my move to Florida. I have worked with individuals with the following concerns: anxiety, self harm, gender dysphoria, substance use disorders/addiction, co-occurring disorders, grief & loss, psychosis, PTSD, trauma, and ADHD .
My counseling style is laid back and collaborative. I often like to give homework assignments to practice items that we've talked about in session, but I want you to get the most of our time together. I think that I have a very compassionate and empathetic style of confrontation and believe that rapport building is one of the most key parts of the process. I believe in a team approach as we make progress towards your goals.
I look forward to working with you.

Over the 2 years (on-and-off) that I’ve been using BetterHelp, Breanne has always been there for me at a moment’s notice. With her help I’ve completely changed as a person and bettered myself tremendously in ways I would never be able to by myself. I have nothing but good things to say about her and I will miss her!

Breanne has been an important part of my life these past few years, helping me navigate through several family deaths. She made me realize that each death is different, hence the need for different grief coping skills. I am grateful for her insight and genuine care.

Breanne is such a perfect match for what I needed. When our conversation calls for a personal touch, she's fun and light-hearted. When our conversation calls for a more professional approach, she is attentive and in tune to what I am trying to get across. After every session, I have a relief and comfort that I am on the right track.
