About me

I'll bet that past therapy you've had has felt like a bunch of crap and a total waste of time, right? So many clients tell me about their negative experiences with past therapists, who "just listened" and "didn't really show me how to make anything better." Well, I don't play that game (you are paying for services, after all, right?). I want you to feel you've actually gotten useful skills to improve your situation. I often work with clients with a range of problems and concerns, although I specialize in work with the LGBTQ+ community. I have extensive experience in individual therapy, couples therapy and group therapy.

I'll show you how to identify and challenge the "stinkin' thinkin'", which contributes to feelings of depression and anxiety, substance use, and even problems in couples' relationships. Many clients have told me that I am the "first therapist, who has ever helped" them and often tell me that they feel significant relief even after our first session.

We can make all sorts of excuses and justifications for keeping ourselves depressed and anxious. If you're really ready to get to work with someone, who truly cares, I'd be honored to work with you. Clients have told me they love my sense of humor and down-to-earth approach. Let's get together and help you achieve the peace of mind you deserve.

Brian is the best therapist I've had thus far

I've been in therapy with him for my Codependency issues for a few months now

He's shown me that I'm not the only person to have gone through what I have

As others have said Brian is a no-nonsense therapist and is not afraid to tell it like it is which is a welcome change

He's called me on my BS many times

I would like to continue with Brian unfortunately my bank account says no

I'll miss my talks with Brian

Brian has been amazing in helping me find my core insecurities and assisting in breaking through those. He pushes me to feel what I'm feeling without making me feel unsafe or forced. He allows me to vent while also bringing me back to the main focus. I feel more confident than before, though there is a ways to go, I know Brian is the one to help me get there.
