Brittani Furnival, LMFT
About me
Brittani uses a strength-based and solution-focused approach, helping individuals to identify their own strengths and power while identifying realistic solutions. Brittani received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Family Therapy from North Central University. Brittani is currently in the NCU Ph.D. program where she is focusing on the effects of complex trauma on attachment through all developmental stages of life. Brittani has experience working within a hospital, IOP, PHP, residential treatment centers and private practice. Brittani does not have a laundry list of specializations and believes that it is impossible to specialize in that many things. Brittani specifically has experience in working with childhood trauma, attachment issues, autism, depression, and anxiety symptoms. Brittani has also provided parent training for caregivers who are specifically wanting to improve their parenting style/skills and strengthen their relationship with their children.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Brittani Furnival. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Brittani has a way with “meeting you where you’re at” but also knowing when to help you feel comfortable in that place, or when to “help you not stay there in that place” if that’s what you need help with. She’s everything I was hoping for in a therapist.
