I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with 6 years of experience in counseling. I have worked in partial hospitalization programs, private practice, and in home counseling settings. I obtained my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2014.
My approach to therapy can best be describe as eclectic. While I have a strong base in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I also like to intertwine Person Centered Techniques as well as Solution Focused approaches.
My goal for each of my clients is for them to be the best possible versions of themselves. While this concept sounds easy enough, there are many things each of us have that are blocking that path. My goal in therapy is to help clients Identify what that block is and how they can begin to remove it.

Most kind hearted therapist I’ve ever had. Truly listens to me and helps me find better coping mechanisms and how to truly love yourself. She has been my light the last 4 months and our weekly sessions have helped me become the best version of myself daily.

Brittany has been so thoughtful and kind throughout our sessions. I truly feel listened and understood when I talk with her. There has been some challenges happening in my personal life. I decided to start attending therapy again after a decade of not doing so. Brittany has made the experience very comfortable for me. I feel like I have made progress in my personal life over the past few weeks already. Thank you so much, Brittany!

I was very scared to start therapy. One of the things I heard was, “you won’t find a good enough therapist right away.” But that’s a lie.
Brittany has been amazing, and I appreciate their attention to detail, and care.
If you are considering therapy, please don’t wait. It will help you, and you will be supported.

Brittany Duke is a wonderful human being who cares about her clients on the level you would care about a close friend. I have never felt uncomfortable speaking with brittany. She is open minded and welcoming with every session we have and no matter how heavy the topics might get it always ends with a smile and well wishes. I highly recommend brittany duke to anyone, particularly people who are new to therapy like myself. Thank you Brittany! You're a saint!

Brittany takes a genuine interest in my case and responds in a way that’s both professional and friendly. She feels along with you and has real empathy. If she weren’t my therapist she’s someone I’d still love to have as a friend.

Brittany Duke has been extremely helpful in processing my depression and anxiety. They have helped me work on what is causing my depression/anxiety and finding coping methods to help reduce the severity of these negative events in both the short term (panic attacks and depressive episodes) and long term (overall mental health). I can’t recommend her enough!

As soon as I met Brittany through the app I felt an instant amount of understanding. It was definitely one of the most relieving feelings that I or anyone should be of access to in their lives. We were put on this earth with others for a reason. Sometimes it’s easy for us to intentionally feel alone forgetting we have necessary connections that need to be made in order to keep going. When you realize what and who those people are you can appreciate those qualities therefore implement them in your own life much easier. I’m grateful. I encourage whomever reading this to not give up reaching out.
