Brittany Groff, LPC
About me
Hi! My name is Brittany and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been working in the mental health field for 8 years, mostly in the inpatient setting. However, I am passionate about working with clients in the outpatient setting to improve their overall well-being and help them reach their goals! I work with individuals seeking therapy for a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, personality disorders, self-esteem, family issues, relationship issues, behavior change, ineffective coping and much more!
My counseling style is supportive, client-centered and goal-oriented. I meet my clients where they are at in their life journey and gain an understanding of what their goals are for therapy. I work with my clients to achieve those identified goals so that their therapy experience is productive and beneficial. I utilize a lot of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to assist patients in exploring their thought and behavior patterns and gaining an understanding of how their life is being impacted. I work with my clients in developing healthier patterns of thought and behavior to improve their overall lifestyle and manage life stressors they are experiencing. I work hard to assist clients in gaining skill sets that will improve their life long-term.
I look forward to working with you and beginning a new therapy journey together!

Brittany is AMAZING. It’s so clear that she cares and is very empathetic to what I am going through. What I love about talking with Brittany is that she focuses on what is most important for me to work through in the moment. I always feel like I am at the forefront of the conversation. I feel supported and empowered when talking with Brittany- which is the most integral thing you can ask for in a therapist!

Brittany is very kind and compassionate. She’s very good at working with my schedule which makes things much easier. I appreciate how she makes me thinks things through rather than just telling me what to think.
