About me

Hello! My name is Brittany Stevens and I am from Alabama. I have lived in Alabama my entire life and attended the University of Alabama for my graduate program in social work. I currently have an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) to practice social work. During my career in social work, I have been involved in helping people navigate a variety of issues. I have worked in child trauma, adult trauma, depression, anxiety, family/couples issues, parental issues, addiction, domestic violence, infertility, LGBTQ among many others.
My treatment style may vary depending on the intake assessment that is completed with any one individual or family. I find cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma focused therapy beneficial in helping others overcome their struggles. I am also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I look forward to working with you and helping you live a better quality of life that you deserve!
