She’s been great and has helped me become a better version of myself. I’m able to hear her thoughts on processing events and relationships with people in my day to day life

I really appreciate and value Brittney as a therapist. She is an active listener and very compassionate, empathetic, and professional. It is evident that she also has personal experience which validates her expertise. It is much more valuable to receive advice and guidance from a counselor who has some experience in the field they're leading. If they have never had a struggle in their area of expertise, are they really an expert on the topic? Not in my opinion. I believe that you can tell when someone shares similar experiences even if it's not actually communicated, just by their compassion and approach. She is also thorough in getting to know your concerns and sensitive to not overwhelm you with feedback, yet providing effective tools that can be used practically.
