I get that I can see a counselor as many times as I choose to up to four sessions pre month however

I don’t have the time nor do I want to see one 4 times per month. Why should I have to pay for 4 sessions per month if I’m only interested in two? ...

A benefit of Betterhelp is that you are not paying per session like traditional counseling services. When you pay for a week with Betterhelp you are gaining access to so much more than a few counseling sessions a month. You are gaining access to an entire network of therapeutic resources. The subscription service makes it easy for you to pick and choose which services you would like to utilize based off your individual needs. Do you have a busy week ahead and can not meet with your counselor? Try a quick exercise from your counselor to keep you on track, clear your mind with a journal entry, or sign up for a groupinar that aligns with your therapeutic goals.

Another benefit of online counseling is the lower cost for counseling services. The average online therapy session costs range from $60 to $80 per session while traditional sessions range from $50 to $150. Unlike traditional face-to-face counseling, Betterhelp counselors are available on your schedule for live sessions and for regular check-in via standard messaging in the Betterhelp platform 24/7. In fact for a lower cost you are actually gaining a number of service options not available in traditional face-to-face counseling services. Some of these services include, live phone sessions, live chat sessions, video sessions from the comfort of your home or anywhere you may be, easy scheduling where you can make your own appointment, digital worksheets and educational tools, a secure journal you can share with your counselor or keep private, groups sessions, smart provider match where you are matched based off your needs, and easy switch capability to find the right counselor for you!

No matter how many sessions you would like to schedule a month, Betterhelp has a service for you. With Betterhelp you can schedule 2 sessions a month and still have access to a counselor on your schedule for regular check-ins, psych-educational exercises, and even groupinars, which are virtual therapeutic groups led by licensed professionals. Betterhelp makes it easy for you to tackle your mental health needs from all angles, on your schedule, and at more affordable costs than average face-to-face counseling.
