Cameron Williams, LISW
About me
My name is Cameron Williams and thank you for taking a moment to read about me. In doing so you have already taken a critical first step in the therapeutic process which is making the decision to seek out help. I have a Bachelor's of Science from Charleston Southern University and a Master's of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of South Carolina with nearly 20 years of experience working with primarily adolescents and adults with various life challenges. While most of my experience is working with depression, anxiety, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, stress and anger management, I also have experience with various other life issues.
I have a no nonsense approach to counseling meaning that my job is not to fix you but rather to help give you the tools to fix yourself. I believe everyone has the power to improve their situation with the right guidance and motivation. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy as well as motivational interviewing, DBT, and solution focused techniques because I don't believe there is such a thing as a cookie cutter approach to fit a cookie cutter client. I believe life's challenges affect us all differently and look forward to being a part of assisting you to make the positive changes necessary to heal yourself and live your best life. I look forward to working with you!

Cameron has been awesome in every regard since I started sessions with him. He has helped me sort through my life time and time again. I was always skeptical of doing therapy, but working with Cameron erased that notion. Very thankful for all the help he has provided me.

Cameron was amazing from start to finish. He is blunt, and will tell it to you the way you need to hear it, which severely helped in my case. I would recommend him to anyone!
