Dr. Carol Bunch, LCMHC, LPC
About me
Who do you go to when life hurts? What do you do when problems arise? Where do you go when the stigma of traditional counseling is not an option? I am here to assist you with online counseling. I counsel individuals, couples, and families. I have been in private practice since September, 1999. I have been a board Certified TeleMental Health counselor since 2014. I believe that each of us have the ability to heal our hurts through forgiveness and the mending our broken hearts. Some of the issues that I work with are substance abuse, depression, forgiveness, anger, relationship issues, sexual assault, domestic violence, PTSD and career choices.
I guess I'm considered a generalist although I'm trained in domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse and career counseling. When we look at those areas in our lives, many issues arise such as depression, anxiety, relationships, communication, anger, divorce and others.
I believe that God has called me to heal the broken hearts so that we can live again. I believe that there is value in each of you and sometimes we can't see our self worth because of our pain.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Carol Bunch. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dr. Bunch is very experienced and was able to meet me where I was mentally from the first session. Her fundamental approach was extremely helpful in allowing me to understand my worldview and state of mind a bit better. She was good at getting to the source of my thoughts and worries and was patient with me as I began to peel back the layers of why I felt the way I did. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Bunch is thoughtful. She sees both the big picture and small details, and helps you realize your goals. Talking things through with her brings the clarity and calm I was craving when I signed up for a therapist. She has concrete tools that help you make up your mind and Form decisions.

Dr. Bunch is honest and straightforward but in the kindest most empathetic way. She doesn’t tell you things, she asks you... I like this because it really forces you to examine yourself and be honest with yourself. I always finish the session feeling so much lighter and free. I also love that after each session she gives “homework” to work on the things discussed during each session and she always checks in during the week to make sure you’re keeping up with it. The constant communication and check ins as well as her remembering all the things you tell her from session to session really make me feel cared for.

Dr. Bunch is very knowledgeable and employs many techniques. But she is not stagnant: she is always learning and bringing in new ideas.
She is very kind and supportive while being direct and to the point. She is not about beating around the bush and is great at identifying root issues and targeting those during sessions.
