About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and North Carolina with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist/counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, aging and geriatric problems, isolation/loneliness problems. I also helped many people who have experienced life purpose problems, emptiness and self-love.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, client-centered and solution focused. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Carolyn Hallinan. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Carolyn has a calm, friendly demeanor that gives you full confidence that she will listen and explore in a nonjudgmental way. She “reads the room” and can change her approach in subtle ways, to line up with whatever I bring on a given day.
