Cary Millbury, LCSW
About me
I see a variety of clients with a range of needs including perinatal mood and anxiety (PMAD), eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family issues, life changes and more. I pull from object relations, the attachment spectrum, social learning, and behaviorism. I acknowledge that we are social beings and that we are wired for connection. I come from a trauma informed lens and believe in using the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change.
I am trained in CBT-E for treating eating disorders and utilize a variety of evidence based practice such as CBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, SFBT, and neurobiology.
Relationships are important and when they are fostered the goal can be focused on attaining confidence in multiple settings- academic, social/personal, and career. I want to help others build a life worth living. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Cary Millbury. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Cary is a very kind and patient therapist. she listens, gives encouragements when needed, and is very good at picking up on the way my brain processes things. she incorporates that into therapy and it helps me figure out how i want to go about different things. i really enjoy talking to her. she is also very good at making sure our sessions are a very obvious safe space for me to voice any and all concerns that i have. she has given me plenty of options and tools to deal with my anxiety and to cope with the every day stress of life and it changes. im really glad and happy betterhelp matched her to me.
