About me
Hello! My name is Cassandra and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with over 12 years of providing counseling service. I also have over 20 years of experience in the behavioral/mental health field. I have worked in the field extensively with children, adolescents, and adults, providing case management, individual, family and group therapy. My professional experience includes working with adults as a crisis case manager and advocate; providing clinical interventions to children and adolescents exhibiting significant emotional and behavioral disturbances. I also have 9 years of experience in leadership and supervision.
I attended Alcorn State University, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology. I also hold a Master’s in Community Counseling from Delta State University and a Master’s in Substance Abuse Counseling and Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University.
My overall therapeutic framework is Trauma-Informed, Client-Centered and Family Systems; however, I utilize a wide range of therapeutic approaches that best suit the needs of the individual.
