About me
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in Minnesota with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, career and health challenges, as well as a variety of other mental health disorder. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals through life transitions and personal growth.
I believe that you are the expert of your own story and that your strengths will help you overcome the challenges you face. Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I commend you for getting started.
In addition to my clinical work, I hold a Ph.D. in counseling and have been an educator for many years, teaching psychology at Bemidji State University and mentoring future professionals in the field. I am also a best-selling Amazon author and a regular contributor to local newspapers on mental health related topics.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy writing, traveling, aviation, SCUBA diving, hiking, golf, and cheering on state and local sports teams.
