About me

I am married with grown children. I hold a Masters of Arts in Counseling and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor of Hawaii. I have seven years of professional work experience in counseling, two years as a military Master Resiliency Trainer, an Army veteran with 20 total years of federal service. I find non-denominational, Christian-based counseling to be the approach I most excel in. I have experience helping clients with stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship and intimacy issues, family conflicts, self-esteem, military service, veterans’ issues, PTSD amd more. I believe in active listening for content without judgement, focusing on your specific needs, offering encouragement, guidance, goal setting, and resiliency. It is courageous to be vulnerable and seek assistance in one’s life journey. I would be honored to partner with you in this process of growth, healing, and change. Thank you for considering my support.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Charity Cooper. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Charity has been kind and thoughtful during our first few sessions. She is a great listener and provides me with feedback to be my better self. I appreciate her help tackling life problems when I need to express them to someone who does not have an emotional connection to the stressors that are occurring in my life. After a session I feel like the problems I’ve been internalizing are processed and expressed in a healthy way. Thank you for all you do!
