Chasity Jones (Chas), LPC
About me
I am a BIPOC and LGBTQ identifying, Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and have been practicing professionally as a counselor for 4 years. I have gained most of my professional experience working in Community Mental Health with substance use, co-occurring, and incarcerated populations. My specialties include, working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and additional mood and psychotic disorders. I am person-centered, collaborative, strengths-based and culturally sensitive. My goal is to aid my clients in enhancing and increasing their motivation, feelings of self-worth, self-acceptance and confidence; while navigating life, love, career, parenthood, and personal growth. I value authenticity and safety within the therapeutic relationship and supporting the autonomy of my clients.
My style as a therapist is warm, compassionately direct, humorous, relatable, and eclectic. Here's a quote that I love & believe captures the way I believe change and healing take place:
"The healing process is mainly based on the combination of words that allow the sharing of values, beliefs, feelings, and perceptions between two or more people." - Michela Rimondin, (2011).
From my therapeutic lens, we cannot heal in isolation. Alone time is imperative, but healing is better cultivated in support and healthy connection to others.

Chas is the best therapist I’ve had by far. She always keeps things real with me and raw but also listens and shows kindness in everything she says. She’s amazing and my life wouldn’t be going the same without her help.

Chastity is a wonderful, down to earth, direct, charismatic, thoughtful and enthusiastic person to speak with. It is truly great to have someone available who I feel truly comfortable being honest with and who makes me feel heard.
