About me

As a Licensed Clinical Social worker I believe that every person has the ability to grow and change in the midst of chaos, trauma, life changes, and stress. Within the nurturing environment of a therapeutic relationship, individuals can deepen their understanding of themselves and their personal challenges, while learning new ways to handle life's difficulties. I strive to be supportive, non-judgmental, genuine and down-to-earth, so individuals feel safe and comfortable.
I am informed by systems theory and value a holistic approach to therapy, working to address issues on an emotional, physical, & existential level. I utilize treatment strategies from DBT, CBT, TF-CBT and offer direct, helpful guidance for those who want more than just a good listener. I work with adolescents, adults, families, and couples.

Chelsea made me feel comfortable about sharing and helping me address some of the deeper items I was ignoring. I feel like I am getting somewhere with myself for the first time.
