Chelsey Vest, LCSW, LICSW
About me
I have always been dedicated to working with people of all ages to promote personal, mental, professional, and overall wellness. Over the past six years I have worked with children, young adults, families, and adults in a variety of settings. The mix of populations with which I have worked has given me experience with those with different challenges: depression and anxiety, LGBTQ+ identities, sexuality concerns, mood disorders, healing from trauma, ADHD, ADD, Autistic Spectrum disorder, and many others. I use an eclectic approach in therapy which includes as well as solution centered, mindfulness, and CBT. The goal is always to work together to find a method that works best for you.
For some there is a specific event that brings them to seek therapy, but I believe that is not always the case. Life can be challenging and having an unbiased ear to listen or exploring opportunities for personal growth can be an excellent benefit to engaging in therapy. The ability to provide telehealth options for people is making therapeutic services more accessible than ever. Taking the steps to engage in therapy is a gigantic and, sometimes, scary step. I thank you for considering having me join you on this journey and I look forward to working with you.
