Chris Fischer, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in San Antonio, TX. with more than 10 years’ experience of
practice in Texas. I also worked as a counselor in other states for over 10 years. Altogether, I have over
20 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked extensively with folks dealing with
depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorders, post-traumatic stress, crisis, victims of crime, family relationship
issues, sports performance, and other issues.
My approach to counseling is client-centered, where you are highly valued, respected and honored. I
understand the issues you want to resolve are extremely important to you, your family, and others close
to you. The counseling process will be specifically designed around you and your needs to motivate and
empower you. Therefore, I utilize the most effective techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution-Focused techniques, and others that produce positive results,
that change lives.
Seeking out counseling and taking that first step in the process can be scary, but let your heart not be
troubled. It will be one of the best decisions made in getting back to a healthier you and life. I would be
honored to come along side you and help you reach those goals. Blessings.
