I am a Licensed Counselor with 13 years experience working with clients in a behavioral and psychological, therapeutic environment and 13 years experience working with clients in a professional, business, human-development environment. All of my experience has provided me with opportunities to assist and guide others in their life development. I have worked with clients/individuals/families/couples from age 3 to 90's and am always excited to engage and assist my clients at any point in their life to adjust, cope and improve. I appreciate the uniqueness of others and have genuine interest and value in diversity. My goal as a therapist is to connect with my client, understand their needs and utilize an approach and tools that allow them to get to the place they desire to go. I have provided services in a variety of environments including personal, business, legal, medical, academic and community. I feel that I am effective in any therapeutic situation because of my experience and approach, but I have specialized in trauma situations, extreme behavior/emotional issues, couples/relationship improvement and autism spectrum behaviors. Though these are specialty areas, they are not a limit of interests or experience; I gained the opportunity to become specialized primarily due to referrals for service and sponsored training.
Though this a brief introduction, my hope is that it provides you with an appropriate amount of insight about me and assists in your process of finding a therapist to work with. I feel that comfort level in therapy and connection with the therapist is important for success in the therapeutic process and I strive to create both for my clients. I wish you the best in your search for answers and solutions and I'm glad you are here.

Christing is an amazing therapist and wonderful person. Her knowledge and professionalism as well as her empathy and support are outstanding.
I have been seeing her for about a year now and have grown and learned so much about every aspect of myself and my life.
With her support I was able to be happy again and see worth in life and my relationship(s) after having suicidal thoughts and being depressed.
I am very thankful and can only highly recommend her as a therapist.

I subscribed to better help last year when I was a total mess in pandemic. And I am glad I was connected to Christie.
In the beginning, It took us time to build a rapport and understanding.
And it worked out well.
I appreciate the way she hears me out , then helps me carve my own perspective and find a solution to my problems.
She respects my views. Never have I found her offensive or apathetic.
She's a great counselor. And I'm thankful to for her support.

I'm going to cry just writing this lol, I can not begin to describe how much I needed to have Christie in my life. Anyone that has ever been in therapy and had one they justed instantly connected with will understand when I say how life changing that can be. From the first moment we had our first video session it was like meeting someone I had known my whole life. I instantly felt safe, heard, and validated. I've recently had alot of compounded tramuas that I have not dealt with and by the second session she has gone above and beyond to not only recognize that but implement a full crash course of my life just to better understand where I am at. I can not properly praise Christie the way she deserves because what can you say about someone who is literally helping you change your life. I was hesitant to try a platform like BetterHelp but in doing so I found one of the things I've needed most which was a professional that I could trust. I have had quite a life and no matter what I present to her she listens with no judgement. When she dosent understand or dosent know something she admits it and asks to be informed or educated. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met.

Christie is wonderful! She is compassionate and yet can speak the truth in a straightforward manner. She is a perfect fit for me and the way I process things. She often asks leading questions that help me reach conclusions on my own, which is nice. And yet she’s able to tell when that won’t work for me and she can layout thoughts in a direct manner that also help me see things differently. I highly recommend her and have enjoyed the 5 months I’ve had with her!

I have never felt as comfortable talking to anyone about my depression and anxiety as I have with Ms. Christie. She hears me out on what I'm feeling and my current approaches to them, helps me elaborate each of them and get to the roots of them, and then we work on acceptance and next steps. I've always just been stuck on the first part before. I absolutely recommend her, she's a truly caring and skilled counselor!
