Christina Griffin, LPC
About me
Christina was born and raised in Arkansas and has lived in the state her whole life. However, as the child of Irish immigrants, Christina spent a lot of time in Ireland connecting with her heritage and experiencing Irish culture which focuses on relationships and community. These experiences of connection, belonging, and meeting unique and amazing individuals both at home and abroad inspired Christina to seek out a profession in which those qualities are celebrated and cultivated. When she decided to start the journey of becoming a therapist, she attended the University of Central Arkansas where she obtained a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. Since becoming a counselor she has taken every opportunity to learn and grow. Christina has provided therapy in a variety of settings such as in schools, agencies, inpatient treatment facilities, and private practice. In therapy, she uses a range of effective, evidence-based counseling techniques, tailoring her approach to fit the individual needs of her clients. Christina specializes in helping adults struggling with mood disorders (depression, anxiety), trauma, and personality disorders.
In her spare time, Christina loves spending time in nature with her husband and their dogs, traveling to new places, and can always be found with a book in her hand. She enjoys playing board games with her friends and can be found all summer at the lake with her family.
