About me

Hello and welcome to my profile! I'll begin by introducing myself...
I am a practicing Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist passionate also about the' 360 degree concept of health' - the mind and body working together to create a 'complete' holistic picture of health. I have been in private practice for many years now and have thousands of hours experience with clients working with a wide variety of issues including anxiety , depression , trauma, abuse, reltionship issues, eating disorders and many more.
It is so hard to choose a therapist these days as there a so many out there all with their uniques skills and qualities, all I can say on that is 'trust your gut' it's normally right!
I could say a lot about my specific qualifications and the type of therapy I offer, but honestly, I believe all types of therapy can work. The most important factor on your journey I believe, is the therapeutic relationship you have with your counsellor or therapist. If you feel you can really trust and open up to your therapist, then your journey of self discovery and healing can truly begin. So please take time to read about me and go with what your gut tells you (its normally right!) I specialise in working with adults experiencing anxiety/low mood and self esteem issues and also survivors of abuse, emotional or physical.
I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy but the heart of my practice is treating my clients with genuineness, warmth, empathy and unconditional positive regard. No matter what your story is, I will be there; not to advise, judge or criticise, but to support, explore, and teach you skills to help understand yourself and manage your emotions.
Together we will work towards making sense of what is causing you distress just now, and work towards meeting your goals for therapy, session by session. At present I am offering online live chat 45 min sessions, phone calls and messaging . All messages will be responded to as soon as I can (ideally within 24 - 48 hrs) - except weekends when I am normally off. If there is not a time on my schedule that works just message me and I will see what I can do to help. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey!

Christine creates a safe and non-judgmental space, which allows me to open up about things easily. Christine has a great way of balancing empathy with practical tools. I’ve seen real progress in my personal growth and feel more equipped to handle challenges.

I would recommend her to everyone:) She listens, and sets great examples, as well as realistic, not overwhelming goals.

I haven't met any therapists before but from what I've experienced so far with Christine I'm not disappointed.

Christine is wonderful. I was about to give up on therapy when I found her. I have a long way to go, but I feel she is with me every step of the way. Thank you.
