Christine Toler, LPMHC, LPC
About me
Hi. My name is Christine Toler, Chris, and I earned my Ed.S and LPC- MHSP in the state of Tennessee, and New Jersey. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2010, and a School Counselor since 2006.
I started being a believer in therapy when it first helped me over forty years ago, (as a child). I thought what a wonderful way to get to the root of the problem... and get rid of it. Since then I have been working on myself as a client as well as a acquiring a license to work with clients including teens, adults and families. I focus on solution based and non-judgmental cognitive therapy. I believe understanding a problem is not the end of the work.
The action we take to support a positive change... is what changes lives. And while I have experienced that in some very important areas... I continue to grow... daily. And I choose to be transparent about that because I believe it is important to the work that my clients know I understand how it feels to be in the client chair.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, guilt, grief, or all of the above, I believe I can help you.
Professional experience
Additional areas of focus: Relationship issues, Grief, Anger management, Self esteem, Bipolar disorder, Coping with life changes, Compassion fatigue

Christine is a thoughtful and compassionate listener. Her gifts are her humor and her empathy. She shares from her own experiences and can gently guide you to your best choices and ultimately your better self. While Christine does not tell you anything,... she shares about herself and makes room for you to discover truths for yourself.
Christine has valuable nuggets of wisdom that she casually drops in conversation that will resonate long after the phone call ends. Her wisdom and kindness foster courage deep within me.
I have grown and learned through the the time I have spent with her and I am certain anyone who is fortunate enough to be connected with her will do the same.
