Christopher Gravett
About me
I have worked in the social service field since 2003 when I started working part time with people with intellectual disabilities. Since then I have worked with people with addictions issues, relationship issues, trauma, behavioral issues, and traumatic brain injuries. Most of the individuals I work with are experiencing more than one challenge in their life and need support navigating the complex challenges that come up. I have training and experience in several different approaches to therapy including classic behaviorism, cognitive behaviorism, and psychodynamic approaches. In working with you I will use my skills and experience to find the best approach for your particular situation and together we will develop a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
I am professionally Licensed in the state of Utah as a licensed clinical social worker. I graduated from University of Utah in 2008 with a Master's of Social Work. Since graduation I have been in clinical practice working with couples, individuals and families. The bulk of my experience has been working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and trauma.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time outdoors or working on projects in my garage. I also am a bit of a SciFi nerd and spend time volunteering with the 501st legion.

Christopher immediately put me at ease with him as a therapist. He brought a calmness and feeling of undertstanding to my situation which allowed me to more effectively explain what was going on with me. I'm a work in progress, but with the tools Christopher is equipping me with, and his feedback, I feel like I'm headed in the right direction now. :-)
