Colleen Fong, LMFT
About me
I am a bilingual and bicultural licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over 20 years of experience working in San Francisco’s diverse communities providing treatment to individuals coping with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, communication difficulties, stress, career and work-related issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and acculturation issues.
In serving my clients, I feel we underestimate how culture and our environment have a profound affect on our physical and mental wellbeing. We often neglect this when we navigate our journey towards healthier relationships with others and ourselves. I aim to provide a safe space for my clients as we maximize your strengths to live a healthier tomorrow. I believe in the value of kindness, approaching life with curiosity, and learning to persevere through life’s challenges.

Colleen is a magical idea fairy who gently but consistently helps me reframe my narrative and intentionally pursue productive strategies for growth while teaching me self forgiveness and compassion. For her unwavering patience with my recurring weaknesses, timely and insightful messaging in between appointments, and her quick insight into the core of my emotional problems and degenerative thinking, I cannot recommend Colleen enough as a therapist. Thank you, Colleen! :)

Colleen has a great memory, or takes good notes so the sessions flow nicely without having to recap things. She is easy to understand, and grasps the situation nicely.
