About me

Conner Vrba (he/him) is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Conner's dedication to helping others stems from his personal connection to the local community. Prior to his counseling career, Conner excelled as a football player during his undergraduate years at the University of Idaho, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. He continued his education by obtaining his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University, where he developed a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques. Conner is continuing his education at Idaho State University as he works towards completing a Ph.D. program in Counselor Education and Counseling that he is set to complete in 2025.

Conner's approach is rooted in the Gestalt theoretical framework, emphasizing the importance of being fully present in the moment and fostering self-understanding in his clients. Conner understands the impact trauma can have on someone’s life and allows this to inform his care and actively incorporates this perspective into his everyday practice, providing holistic support to individuals navigating challenging experiences.

With Conner's experience as a collegiate student-athlete, he enjoys working with athletes of all levels as they navigate the many roles they juggle. He understands the pressures athletes experience from the community, friends, family, coaches, teachers, and more. Conner strives to help provide them with support to make their journey more enjoyable and improve performance.

Outside of his professional commitments, he embraces an active lifestyle, engaging in outdoor sports and activities with friends and family. Conner also finds joy in the culinary arts and listening to a variety of music.
