Connie Hobbs, LMHC
About me
Hi , my name is Connie Hobbs and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addictions Professional in Florida. I have worked over 12+ years in the field of counseling. I have had the pleasure of working with all populations including adults, teens, and children. I have two Masters from Stetson University, one of which is in Counselor Education and the other is in Mental Health. I believe education along with life experience makes the most complete and empathetic therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, parenting problems, ADHD, and foster care and adoption to name a few . My counseling style is warm, friendly, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.
My therapeutic styles are eclectic utilizing cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. I feel it is not a one size fits all approach. The therapeutic relationship is utilized to achieve your desired result. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek out, come here, share, and want a more fulfilling and happier life, and I want to take those steps towards change with you! If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Connie Hobbs. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Connie is beyond qualified, extremely helpful and considerate. I love that she is committed to continuously learning more knowledge, techniques, and tools to add to her craft and to share with and help her clients. I only had to switch counselors once, (my first match was not good at all) and I am so happy that my 2nd match was with Connie, who is the perfect therapist for me and I am so appreciative of her. I would recommend her to anyone! Actually, my friends have asked if I can refer her to them (in a joking way because that's a conflict of interest haha) but anyway, she only works with clients in Florida and they don't live here, so, their loss. But if you are a Florida resident, I absolutely recommend her. She is your best choice.

Connie has been there since the beginning for me. If I’ve ever had a question or any concerns she’s always answered it in a timely fashion and supported me. Thank you Connie

Connie has been very responsive, attentive and supportive, both in our sessions and more generally through messaging on the app. She has clearly kept focus on our goals, and I like how she accepts and processes new information in that context. She is easy to talk to.
