Connie Toavs, LCSW, LICSW
About me
With a background in Psychology, Gerontology, and Social Work, I specialize in providing psychotherapy for families, individuals, couples and more mature populations. I have supported people with and through PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, end-of-life, chronic illnesses, medical conditions, personality disorders, intimate betrayal, attachment/family of origin and more.
Being mindful of individual differences, I provide a safe environment that is welcoming and peaceful for all clients. In a non-judgmental approach, through exploration in life review, we will identify areas of repeated undesirable patterns that are negatively impacting your own functioning and others. Together, we’ll work on developing a better understanding of how the area of concern is impacting your life. We’ll build knowledge about how it impacts you physiologically and emotionally and then develop ways to help you with it. With a calming presence, I’ll be there to support you through your journey of life.

I’ve been working with Connie for a few sessions now, and I can confidently say she is an exceptional therapist. She is incredibly knowledgeable! What stands out most about Connie is her kindness and patience—she creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where I always feel heard and supported. She’s a great listener who truly takes the time to understand what I’m going through, and her thoughtful guidance has been both reassuring and empowering. I’m grateful for the work we’ve done together and highly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and professional support.
