I am a licensed professional counselor with approximately 20 years of experience. I enjoy working with many different populations and believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. Much of my experience is in the field of addiction (drugs, alcohol, food, and work), but I also have extensive experience with mood disorders and personality disorders. My preferred approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) because it is highly effective. I also have some experience with dialectical behavior therapy, which I think provides the best type of group experience.
In CBT we learn how our belief system is a lens through which we see everything in life. The lens affects how we feel about things and our behaviors. By becoming aware of this lens, we become able to change it, which can lead to dramatic changes in our lives. The best thing about these therapies is that you will learn how to use them on your own so they become a lifelong skill that can really improve the quality of your life.

Connie has been able to help me with some serious trauma that has effected me tremendously over the past 12 years whenever I think about it. Now I feel more at peace with things and her work with me has been life changing in decreasing my grief anxiety and depression surrounding an accident that left me handicap. She also helps me navigate difficult relationships, familial and romantic. I would highly recommend Connie as a therapist and look forward to our sessions!

I stalled getting therapy for a year because of the bad experiences that I've had with the other ones on this platform and in real life. I matched with constance but it took me a year of anxiety and contemplation to try therapy again. I've only had a few sessions with her, but she's been really kind and empathetic and timely and I'm just overall shocked at confidently saying I have a good therapist now. I would recommend her to anyone.

This is my first time doing therapy, I personally don’t have it in me to do face to face or phone calls, so I appreciate her flexibility, patience and constant reassurance. She checks on me and just seems very genuine. Constance has made this scary journey a lot easier and less intimidating, I truly appreciate her.

Meeting Constance has been a total game changer for me. I've worked with several therapist, and psychiatrist in the past and never have I experienced what I have with Constance. She is an amazing listener, advice giver and always has several suggestion on how to deal with/tackle an issue. From the beginning she has never seemed like one to judge which has made me gain confidence in telling her things I would not have discussed with anyone previously and in doing so she has been there to listen and give excellent advice. I would highly recommend Constance for anyone. I don't normally leave reviews but in this case I felt it was well worth the time because Constance is excellent.

I couldn't have asked for a better Therapist. Not only is Constance amazing at reflective listening, but she's able to provide insight into my thoughts and experiences. I enjoy her cognitive behavioral exercise worksheets! I have learned what my cognitive distortions are and I have taken intentional steps with Constance to address some of the underlying fears that are connected to these distortions. I feel more emotionally healthy since working Constance and I look forward to every session with her! She's the best!

Constance has been a great person to interact with. She expresses legitimate concern for my well-being. She takes the time to search for strategies that help me break through my anxieties and improve how I deal with others. She helps me try out different ways of thinking about the world to find what works best for my and my situation. I appreciate very much the help she has provided to me.
