Cory Bee, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Connecticut.
After graduating from Hunter School of Social Work in 1995, I have completed post masters supervised trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic approaches. My counseling experience has included EAP, community-based settings, and private practice, where I’ve helped clients manage their personal problems and cope with issues.
I have treated depression, anxiety, addictions, and trauma and stressor related issues. I have worked with adolescents, adults including older adults. I believe the therapeutic relationship is key to helping the client getting the most out of therapy. I have an eclectic approach using CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I look forward to our collaboration.
