About me

I am licensed in Missouri as a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, career difficulties, & depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I mainly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in my therapy sessions. CBT is a technique that can help you change unhealthy or unhelpful ways of thinking, which in turn, could help with other parts of your life. Solution Focused Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses mainly on setting up quick goals that can help with the issues or struggles you are currently going through. Motivational Interviewing is technique that frames certain questions to help clients come to their own understanding of how to solve their issues or struggles. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

I think Cory is great. He is a really good listener which is something that is really important to me and is certainly something I am in need of. He offers advice when needed and makes me feel respected and safe.
