My license in Illinois is called LPC or Licensed Professional Counselor. My license in North Carolina is called LCMHC or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University in Illinois. Illinois is where I was born and raised, but in 2017 I moved to North Carolina, for four years, to support my husband in his job. I now have moved back to the Midwest and reside in my husbands hometown in Wisconsin. In the past 8 years I have become a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Throughout my years as a counselor I have worked with those who have been domestic violence perpetrators and survivors, those who have been court ordered for anger management and parenting classes and those who have need trauma counseling. Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Courtney Krolikowski. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Courtney is an amazing therapist who goes above and beyond for her clients. Taking the time to check in through the BetterHelp messaging service. Being flexible with her availability if none of the posted times work with your schedule. She makes you feel comfortable during sessions and able to discuss problems without fear of judgement. She builds a strong relationship with her clients and follows up on progress for key problems. She is very intuitive and can help to analyze the root cause behind a feeling or thought. I would highly recommend her to other users of this app and will request her as my same therapist in the future.

Courtney has helped me greatly over the past year and a half with my anxiety. She is very knowledgeable and flexible in her approach, shared many tools and techniques, and gave plenty of space to talk through anything that was bothering me. She is warm and kind but not overbearing. I learned a lot and grew as a person. Thank you!

Courtney is everything that I have been looking for in a therapist. She gives a lot of feedback and her perspective, which I love. I will keep Courtney as my therapist for as long as possible. I have no doubt that we will heal my trauma together and she will help me thrive.

Courtney is a wonderful therapist. She creates a healthy space free of judgment and I have no trepidation when approaching a subject with her. She helps guide the conversation when needed and her advice and guidance is clearly informed by great training and intelligence/ knowledge. I feel heard and sympathised with (where appropriate) and have really grown and healed with her help, even in such a short period of time.

Courtney has been a bright light in a long tunnel of professionals who just didn't know what to do with me; she's always understanding and supportive of whatever issues I bring up, and has an enormous amount of knowledge of the kinds of problems I'm facing and need help with. She never gives me the impression that something I'm going through is either my own problem or unsolvable - and as a plus, she's very kind as a person herself.
