Cyd Arnold, BACP
About me
The first step to therapy is finding the right therapist for you. This will be a relationship like no other, a safe space for you to be actively listened to and supported to be your authentic self, exploring, processing thoughts and feelings without judgment or opinion.
Using Carl Rogers’ person centred, core values approach as my foundation for working with clients, the sessions are client-led using empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard. Creating a space where the client can feel safe enough to access their full potential and move towards self-actualisation, this also allows me to apply different approaches, theories, and models such as, but not exclusive to:
Talking Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Psychodynamic
Creative Art
Transactional Analysis
PACE (Playfulness Acceptance Curiosity Empathy) therapy, a trauma informed approach.
I am a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’m DBS checked and fully insured.
We are all uniquely different, therefore l believe therapy isn’t one size fits all. Embark on a transformative self-exploration journey where the sessions are uniquely custom-tailored to you. I am dedicated to being your unwavering cheerleader. Release preconceived notions and welcome with open arms the tale that makes you distinctly you; I wholeheartedly believe that is our super power!
Discovering that authentic voice within you and watch as it rings out loud and clear, carrying your intentions with precision and passion moving forward. It is an absolute privilege to walk alongside you in your journey.
Learning strategies, techniques and tools to manage in a healthy way, supported and when you are ready to be able to apply them solely moving forward.
Where you are today will not be where you are in a week, a month or even a year.

This is my first experience having therapy and I couldn’t recommend it more. The easiness and supportability of using better help can fit into anyone’s schedule and lifestyle with all the tools and support right at your finger tips. I was matched with my therapist Cyd Arnold who from the get go has made me feel at ease and comfortable in all our sessions so far. He expertise and knowledge have been a huge support through the many aspects in my life I am currently struggling with. Cyd is a fantastic therapist and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

In all honesty i’m really new to therapy especially considering the culture im from, and even with that in mind Cyd has been nothing but welcoming and comforting to me. She really has been able to provide me such a wonderful safe space and an opportunity for me to express myself and explore a lot of my traumas and complex issues. I really like her client led approach where she lets me explore while she listens and guides me to improve upon myself. She has given me one of the best possible experiences for someone completely new in the world of therapy and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in any similar circumstance.
