Daisy Ramirez, LPC
About me
Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have a passion for helping others and have over 11 years of experience in the Mental Health field. First five years of my career I worked alongside a team of professionals in a clinic that provided treatment for various issues including, ADHD, anger, anxiety, depression, self-mutilation, grief and trauma to children, adolescents and adults. This is where I learned the foundation of how mental illness affects people's ability to function daily, maintain healthy relationships, education and vocational needs and live a happy life. I was also able to see how diagnosing, testing and treatments can have a positive effect in recovery. From there I moved on to work with the military population, were I provide solution-focused therapy to service members and their families. Working with the Military has sharpened my skills and provided me with the ability to help individuals, families and anyone affiliated with the military by providing psychoeducation, presentations, short-term counseling and groups on life skills and military lifestyle. Services include anger management, communication, relationship, conflict resolution, grief and loss, parenting and decision making that are affected by the deployment cycle, relocation and separation.
I am confident in my abilities and professionalism to provide a safe, relaxed and caring environment in order to help with your needs and challenges. I have the energy, motivation and skills to help implement daily living skills, set goals and adjust to change. My preferred approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Theory and Client-Centered Therapy.

Daisy is very attentive, and helps to clarify my thoughts and feelings when I need clarity. She is always early to our sessions and never makes me feel like she is cutting me short in our sessions. She remembers details, asks questions, and gives great guidance and advice. I also like that she connects personal stories to issues I am facing that help to relate to what I am going through. I feel supported, encouraged, and energized after our sessions! I would recommend Daisy to anyone looking for clarity in their relationship, personal trauma, goal setting/correcting bad habits, and general life stresses.

Daisy has been a huge help to me with helping cope in my marriage. The only thing I would like to see more of us her asking why my feelings are in certain manners and giving me the names psychological diagnosis to what I’m doing wrong so I can research more after our meetings and work more on my own.
