About me
Hi there, I’m Dakota!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas, and I’ve been helping individuals navigate life’s challenges for the past decade. I specialize in supporting those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, OCD, phobias, and self-esteem issues. No matter what brings you here, I want you to know that you don’t have to go through it alone.
I truly believe that you are the expert of your own story—you have strengths, resilience, and untapped potential that we can build upon together. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing and growth. I like to described the process of counseling to my clients from the beginning of our therapy journey like this. "You are the captain of your life and therapy ship, think of me as your first mate. My goal is to help guide and steer your bearings as needed but, ultimately you are in the drivers seat and in control of how your outcomes in life will be as we work together to establish a therapeutic alliance. "
Starting therapy takes courage, and I applaud you for taking this important step. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need a little extra support, I’m here to walk alongside you at your pace.
???? Availability: I primarily offer sessions on Saturdays but also have limited weekday evening spots (7:00 PM, Tuesday – Friday). Please check my schedule for openings, and if you need any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
I look forward to working with you and am grateful for the opportunity to be part of your journey!
