Dale Barrett, LCMHC, LCPC
About me
Let's move forward together! Sometimes we feel our life is out of control and the first thing we need to do is to identify how and why. Once we can identify how we feel our life is out of control, we can work on the why. Now we can begin to identify what we want our life to be and what we need to do to move forward toward our goals. We will work as a team and I will provide a safe, secure and non-judgemental environment for you to share and explore your world in order to develop goals and a plan to move forward.
I have over thirty years of experience and am licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor(LCPC), Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor(LPC-S), and Wisconsin as a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC). Everyone is unique and the therapy must be tailored to fit the individual.

Dale provides great insight and an even better listening ear. I came to BetterHelp during a time of transition in my life and feeling lost. Talking to Dale has helped me focus on what is important and creating healthy sustainable relationships in my life.

Dale Barrett is a good listener and I really value the feedback, although it might seem harsh, it's really good for someone who may tend to overthink.

I really like that Dale responds to my messages and journal posts in a timely manner. But not only does she answer, she gives full and useful answers addressing all I say. I think she’s been helping me a lot, she listens and is supportive and also is realistic

I'm very happy I found Dale. She understands what's going on in my life and where I struggle. When I message her she always replies very quickly, even on the weekends. It's so good to know she's there whenever I need support. People keep asking me if a therapy session via video chat can be helpful, and yes, it is, even though it's hard to believe. Thank you!
