I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Texas and Florida as well as an Air Force veteran with experience in deployments. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, and am qualified to provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy. I have worked in a private practice and clinic setting helping individuals and families with issues related to depression, anxiety, life changes, PTSD, anger management, and improving relationships.
My availability for one-on-one live sessions are typically mid-day, with occasional evenings upon request.
My counseling style is a combination of warm and empathetic, along with tactful honesty and accountability. I believe in mutual respect and compassion. I encourage my clients to be honest with me and if something is not working, to speak up and tell me. I believe in allowing my clients to take ownership of their therapy and gain skills in advocating for themselves and their loved ones. I also believe in understanding the human condition of imperfection and we all make mistakes. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psycho-education, mindfulness, and humanistic treatment approaches. I understand that sometimes all a person needs is an attentive ear, but also quick and useful solutions to problematic symptoms or issues. I will create a balance within my counseling style based on your particular needs and preferences. I also enjoy adding an element of humor in my treatment when it is appropriate.
It takes a great amount of courage to ask for help. I look forward to helping you through your journey and learning more about yourself. My goal is to help empower you to improve what is working well for you and give you the tools to help change what is not working for you.
I look forward to starting this new journey with you!

Dallas is the best! I've been working with her for a few years and I'm so thankful to have a therapist who is so kind, responsive, and knowledgable. I really appreciate that no matter how upset I am leading into a session, Dallas will make me laugh at least once. I now schedule my therapy sessions for days when I have a lot going on because I know I'll feel more confident and able to conquer life at the end of the session. Dallas takes her work very seriously and is wholly committed to her clients. I can't recommend her enough!

Dallas has been everything I could have asked for in a therapist, kind and understanding yet direct and honest. She really makes me feel heard and valued, but also does an amazing job with solutions as well. This was my first time using therapy and I was so nervous about it, but she has made me feel so supported. I've been having sessions with her for five months now and while I felt very comfortable around her immediately, I feel all of this even more than ever. I couldn't possibly recommend her more highly!

Dallas is everything I could ask for in a therapist. She's of course very compassionate, but also straightforward when she needs to be and has a logical approach which has helped me a lot in making sense of things. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to start therapy

Dallas has opened my mind to so many things. My entire life, I was extremely uncomfortable if the subject of my feelings ever came up. In just about a month, she has made me feel so comfortable with myself and has helped validate certain thoughts and feelings I’ve been having for years. She has been such a big help to me that I find myself being more open with my family and friends and I constantly express to them just how happy I am that I got Dallas as a counselor. The decision to seek help and talk to someone did not come easy to me and was about a six year process of me being too scared or too shy, but it is the best decision I've ever made, especially when I got such an amazing counselor!

Having once had only second thoughts about online counseling I can honestly say that I am truly enjoying the immediacy that this concept of counseling achieves and deliveries. After the monotony of years of traditional counseling and having to wait for that one time a week to express a weeklong surge of emotions I find comfort in this method that allows me every day and several times throughout the day to just simply express whatever it may be that is quite possibly nagging at me or causing consternation. I’m pretty certain that I wont be returning to a traditional method of counseling anytime soon.

Ms. Dallas is an absolute joy! She really knows how to get to the heart of the problem while also being funny and a genuinely amazing listener. I honestly don't think I have a single complaint. She's just a good person and a wondrous counselor, and every talk we've had is helping me take the steps I need.
